Welcome to Type & Cakes! Every week, I post a new food adventure. Sometimes it's a recipe, other times it's a post about a new cookbook I'm using.
In 2012, I began exploring the world of gluten-free eating. After about three years of being GF, I discovered I have a milk allergy. Even though I eat gluten now, I continue baking mostly gluten-free.
As food allergies and dietary restrictions rise, more people find themselves without cupcakes. I'm here to tell you that you can have your cake and eat it, too! Just because you follow a certain diet doesn't mean you can't induldge.
